In honour of the day.....
The Bride was beautiful (that dress - wow!), the Groom was handsome (despite the, ahem, balding) and looked very dashing in his full military regalia. I didn't actually watch the ceremony live, but saw the balcony kiss live......I caught up on the highlights on the BBC website when I got back from shopping. But I wish the newly-weds all the best in their future together.

If you go down to the woods today.......
We just spent a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Pinsley Wood, known locally as 'bluebell wood' for obvious reasons. It is part of the ancient Wychwood Forest which is even mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086.....so history and nature in one. Perfect :-)
