Christmas 2010 part 1: Home

We weren't spending Christmas at home this year - instead we would be sharing the day first with Pippi and Granddad Allen, then in the subsequent days, with my family in Leicester......but first a pic of our tree - I let the kids decorate it this year with absolutely no help whatsoever from me (I didn't even sneak back later and rearrange the tinsel!)  And I must say, it looked beautiful - all colourful and bright and in no way 'over-styled'.

Also, one evening shortly before the big day, did you know that Santa actually stopped by to pay the kids a surprise pre-Christmas visit?!  To say they were excited would be an understatement....they watched him arrive in his lit up sleigh with great anticipation, and when he actually came to the door, Jasmine was almost speechless with nerves (well, not so speechless she couldn't remind him of what she asked for for Christmas that is!)
