In fact, we are leaving Oxfordshire.
To be more precise, we are leaving England.
Yes, that's right, we are emigrating.
What?! Where?! When?! How?! I hear you all ask (well, those of you who don't already know of our plans!). To make a short, but quite complex story simpler, Nick has been offered a job in Toronto. It was going to be New York, but he accepted the Toronto offer instead. And so we are now faced with ever so complicated visa applications, selling up our entire lives and starting a new chapter of Life with the Allens*
Witney, it has been soooooo good knowin' ya!
St Mary's Church on the green

The Buttercross - over 400 years old
Toronto, (or rather GTA, cause we don't know exactly where we'll end up yet) you better watch out!
(I took this photo almost 5 years ago to the day!)
* This is not general FB knowledge so please don't out us on there yet!

No WAY!! I'm stunned!
Don't really know what to say. I thought we really would meet someday. Hm. Bummer. Canada better be good to you. Man - I can't believe it. Totally stream-of-consciousness writing right now. Ts.
The weirdest thing is - a good friend whom we haven't heard of for quite some time called us yesterday and guess what - he lives in Toronto!!
Man, that is really somethin', eh!
we still could meet someday!!! We are open to visits as soon as we get our own place. And besides, we are not thinking of this as a permanent move - in that respect maybe the word 'emigrating' was not the best choice. More like, as Nick puts it, "going on an adventure" for a few years "tops"......
Yes, an adventure it'll be - and I bet it'll be great! I was just taken by surprise. ;)
How exciting!!
OMG. I HAVE neglected this block. I'm SHOCKED.
Well, me, I'm shocked.
Told ya. I've already settled.
